About
Friends of Reconciliation, Inc. (FOR) is a nonprofit organization based in Pontiac, Michigan
We launched our mission on March 4, 2019.

We are taking our place as a leader in loving and truthful social change in our nation and families. We are on a mission to help America reach racial reconciliation IN OUR LIFETIME
through personal growth in Jesus Christ!

We believe that as more people allow God to heal the deepest wounds in their soul,
it will help them to build up their faith and trust in Him. We believe this inner shift will allow others to
receive more love and grace, empowering many with the courage to work towards
racial healing and reconciliation.

FOR has successfully worked with National Day Archive,
the mayor of Pontiac, MI along with its City Council,
to deem each March 4th as a holiday for citizens to “March Forth”
towards racial healing and reconciliation!

We are committed to perpetually aid the Detroit Metropolitan community and America
in personal inner healing and racial reconciliation through social skills training, community events
and the creative arts all year round.

Change the narrative, change the nation!
Our Mission
We will positively change the racial narrative in our local community and nation by directing the conversation towards the goal of healing while aiding others in personal development that builds trust and fosters unity.

Our Goal
Our goal is to raise a standard of unity in people from diverse backgrounds throughout our communities and our country. As we achieve racial reconciliation, we seek to see a vast improvement the areas in which our society is affected by a lack of social trust between ethnicities. When more Americans have a standard of brotherhood and sisterhood towards each citizen, we foresee a dramatic decrease in the number of racial injustices and disparities. Last but certainly not least, we would live up to our name as the United States of America.
